Gummy Bear Recipe

Gummy bears are a great way to get the benefits of your healing oils into your system. There are many varieties of making gummies including with jelly crystals, juice and sugar free and vegan options.

Ingredients for JELLY version 1 package of JELLY CRYSTALS (85g) 1 tablespoon of gelatin

1/2 cup of water Gummy bear moulds - these can be purchased off our website with dropper here https://www.hempup.co.nz/product-page/gummie-mould-and-dropper

Note: For Vegan option - there are Vegan Gelatin options – Another option is Agar Agar Powder. Directions to Make Homemade Gummy Bears with JELLY Pour 1/2 cup of water into a sauce pan set on low heat

Add 1 package of Jelly Add 1 tablespoon of gelatin Mix until all dissolved and then remove from heat

Add to moulds with dropper before adding your medicinal oil

When adding your medicinal oil, I usually add this last, you can experiment many ways but I find this the best way to do it then you know exactly how many drops you are adding in each gummy. If you are taking, for example, 10 drops in your morning dose, you can add 2 drops to each gummy bear and eat 5 gummies in the morning in one sitting to get your 10 drops into your system.

Tip: Try to avoid getting bubbles in your dropper when placing in the mold. If you end up with bubbles on the top, that’s ok but the bubbles will solidify that way.

Place in fridge for 30 minutes or until solidified.

Once they are hard from the fridge you can easily pop them out of your mold. If you find them hard to take out of the molds, keep longer in the fridge to make sure they are full solidified. Ingredients for fruit version 1/2 cup of fruit juice 1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons gelatin gummy bear molds

medicinal oil

Instructions:

Pour your juice into a small saucepan over low heat. Add your honey and mix until the honey is dissolved. Add your gelatin a little at a time and whisk continually to avoid clumps.

Pop into moulds using your liquid dropper then add your medicinal oil as instructed in the Jelly recipe. Pop any bubbles if you don’t like how they look as they will harden that way as mentioned in recipe above. Place gummies in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or until the gelatin is set. Remove to a sealed container. Gummies will last for about a week in the fridge.

Flavour Options for Gummies:

You can pick any juice you like for your gummies, but I’ve read you should stay away from pineapple juice as the bromelain doesn’t allow the gelatin to cure, so they won’t harden. I use cranberry juice.

I hope you all enjoy these gummy recipes. I will update this blog soon with more photos and updates.
